Today, we are excited to introduce you to some friends of ours here in Austin who decided they could be a part of truly transforming a community in Ethiopia. The transformation has been inspiring and this group of "regular" people have truly become world changers. Here is what my friend Heather has to say about it, "Hope in Ethiopia is community transformation through orphan care.  Partnering with Food for the Hungry and coming alongside local churches in the Zeway area, we are helping and equipping the community to meet the needs of the orphans and to find solutions to end the orphan crisis in these villages, including local adoption.  Currently 150 orphans, living on their own and many raising younger siblings receive such support as food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, education, counseling, discipleship, vocational training and college tuition.  In addition to caring for the orphans, we are also serving the broader community by refurbishing and building new libraries and schools, and funding adoption workshops and training.  For more information please visit www.hopeinethiopia.org."
