This piece was designed by Jane Diaz, a NYC designer who has partnered with Nepalese silversmiths for more than 20 years. Each piece was make in workshops in Nepal, a tiny country tucked away in the Himalayas between China and India. Artisans make jewelry the same way their fathers' fathers made it, completely by hand. From blocks of pure silver and gold they mill the metal to plates and wires to build this jewelry from scratch!
