The Artisan Business we partner with in Nepal has been working in the Kathmandu region for over 25 years and aims to support communities made vulnerable by natural disasters and economic instability. By harnessing traditional craft techniques, the Artisans are able to build a bright future for themselves—while preserving the beauty of the past.
Our Artisan Partners utilize a metalworking technique that incorporates etching to create the intricate shapes and sculpting seen in Noonday’s jewelry. The Artisans utilize a variety of metals, and all designs are hand carved. The stones used to create these pieces are set in metal, showcasing the intricate designs. All inlays are made using a hand-crafted composite stone.
