This stylish cuff has a sustainable secret-it's crafted using upcycled PVC pipes! Our Artisan Partners in Guatemala got creative to design this beautiful style. They handweave dainty glass beads into a pattern inspired by traditional motifs, then stitch the beaded piece onto soft, caramel-colored leather.
Wipe down with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid getting wet.
This piece is made by Artisans in Guatemala, most of whom are women. Because of the portability of their projects, the women are able to work almost anywhere, from their homes to the local market. This flexibility allows them to become breadwinners for their families while being able to care for their young children at home.
In Guatemala, young girls grow up watching their mothers and grandmothers create traditional crafts by hand. To make our jewelry, Artisans use glass beads and tiny looms to create intricate designs. For our handcrafted woven fabrics, women use natural dyes whenever possible. They boil local flowers, berries, and bark to create styles that are both beautiful and eco-friendly.
